Analyzing the Difference between gestational and traditional surrogacy in USA The older method of surrogacy, called "traditional surrogacy," has the surrogate mother artificially inseminated with either the sperm of the intended father or a donor. That means the surrogate mom is the child's real mom. This technique, which has been around since biblical times, is often simpler and cheaper than in-vitro fertilization (IVF) because
